Service Selector

The Service Selector brings the growing number of communications platforms onboard merchant and leisure vessels under control. Designed around a simple, intuitive interface, the user can easily choose the most appropriate data connection from the comfort of their PC.

Service Selector GUI - click for larger image Whether you need to access your high bandwidth, low cost or always on connections or simply swap services as coverage changes you can 'at the click of a button'.

The service selector also offers peace of mind when connecting your onboard network to high cost satellite services. With its unique ability to switch between different levels of access control you can 'disable' all services, allow 'Full Access' to all users of your onboard network or restrict access to the 'Email Server' only. With integrated timers and data counters it is easy to see when a connection is being used.

The service selector allows you to connect up to five data devices to your onboard network including:

Inmarsats' Fleet range (MPDS and ISDN service)
Iridiums' maritime terminal
GSM/GPRS data devices
Various VSAT solutions
